I think my favorite place for giant sequoia would be Sequoia National Park, in some of the less busy areas; and then Alder Creek is pretty spectacular.Drive time to Prairie Creek Redwoods: 32 miles, 42 minutes. The closest airport to Eureka and the south area of the Redwood National Park is the Humboldt County Airport (ACV), which is located in Mckinleyville.
