I joined an honor society and get some really decent benefits, but our chapter is a total joke that no one actually participates in. SCLA, honor society, NSLS, are all the same imo. I would join an honor society for your major. Where you have to get a certain major gpa and specific grade in certain classes. Sometimes these societys don't invite and you may have to find them.
